The IV Congress of Polish Statistics took place on July 2-4, 2024, in Hilton Warsaw City, Grzybowska 63, Warsaw. The event was organized by Statistics Poland and the Polish Statistical Association.
This edition of the Congress included lectures and panels with renowned national and international speakers from various areas of statistics, such as data analysis, statistical modeling, artificial intelligence in statistics, and much more. This unique event was also an excellent opportunity to network with other statistics professionals and exchange experiences with international experts.
Experts who took part in the 4th Congress of Polish Statistics as keynote speakers:
- prof. Mariana Kotzeva (Director General of Eurostat),
- prof. Partha Lahiri (University of Maryland, USA).
The IV Congress of Polish Statistics brought together Polish and foreign scientists, researchers, experts, public statistics stakeholders, as well as representatives of public institutions and the media.
In particular, it strengthened the multifaceted cooperation between Statistics Poland and the scientific community on issues related to the development of professional and independent public statistics and the continuous modernization of statistical research methodologies.
The Congress of Polish Statistics is one of the most important scientific events organized by Statistics Poland and the Polish Statistical Association. Its goal is to nurture the tradition of joint meetings and deepen the dialogue between public statistics and the scientific community.
The first Congress of Polish Statistics, which took place in 2012, was recognized as an incredibly important scientific event in the history of Polish statistical thought and practice. The fourth edition was surely a worthy continuation. It was the place to discuss the latest trends, research projects, and solutions in the field of statistics.
